This website is hosted on servers located in Germany. When you access my website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in “Server Log Files.” This includes:
– IP address of the requesting device

– Name and URL of the retrieved file
– Referrer URL (the page you visited previously)
– Browser type and operating system used
This data is technically necessary to ensure the stability and security of the website. Since Germany is recognized by the Swiss Federal Council as providing an adequate level of data protection, your data remains secure within the EU/EEA.

a) Contact Form (Forminator)
When you contact me via the integrated contact form, the data you enter is processed using Forminator, a WordPress plugin. Depending on the form, this may include:

– Preferred contact method (e.g. email, WhatsApp, Signal, phone call)
– Your message
– Services or topics of interest
– Consent confirmation
This data is stored on my web server in Germany. It is used solely to process your inquiry, respond to your request, and for related follow-up communication. I do not sell this data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

b) Communication via Email, WhatsApp, or Phone
If you contact me directly outside the contact form, I will process the personal data you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, and message content) solely to handle your inquiry and provide the requested services.

5. Data Backups and Disaster Recovery
To ensure the availability and security of your data, I perform regular backups of this website (including the database and all files).
Backup Tool: I use the UpdraftPlus plugin. This plugin acts as a technical interface to facilitate the transfer of backup files. No data is stored by the plugin developer itself.
Storage Location: Backups are stored on Google Drive, a service provided by Google LLC (USA).
Purpose: The processing is necessary for the legitimate interest of ensuring data security and the ability to restore the website in the event of a technical failure (Disaster Recovery) in accordance with Art. 32 nFADP.
International Transfer: While your primary data is hosted in Germany, backups may be transferred to Google servers. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures that the Swiss Federal Council recognizes an adequate level of data protection for such transfers.

6. Cookies and Tracking
This website is designed to be as data-lean as reasonably possible:
No marketing or analytics tracking: I do not use Google Analytics or similar visitor-tracking tools.
Essential technical cookies: Like most websites, limited technical cookies or local storage may be used where necessary for basic website functionality, security, or form operation. These are not used for advertising or profiling.

7. Data Sharing
Your personal data will not be sold to third parties. Sharing only occurs:
a) If there is a legal obligation.
b) For the fulfillment of a contract or service request.
c) To technical service providers acting as “Data Processors” (such as my hosting provider in Germany and Google for backup storage), with whom I have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) where required.

Right to Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data, provided no legal retention periods (e.g. the 10-year Swiss bookkeeping requirement for financial records) prevent it.
